Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the indictment of former Forest Park Director of Human Resources Tye Smith (DOB 6/3/69) on 2 counts of Sexual Imposition (Misdemeanor 3). If convicted of both counts, Smith faces the possibility of 120 days in jail.

Smith is charged with having sexual contact in 2017 with two female interns who worked for him when he was employed as the Human Resources Director for the City of Forest Park. Smith told the interns that he was conducting studies on female health and sexuality issues.

Smith was employed as the City of Forest Park Human Resources Director from 1996-2017. He was scheduled to be promoted to Forest Park City Manager when one of the victims in today’s indictment went to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department to report the incident with Smith.

Smith is no longer employed by the City of Forest Park in any capacity.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters commented, “This guy is a complete creep. I find it very hard to believe that these are his only victims. I ask that anyone else who may have been victimized contact the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, Detective Jack Losekamp, at 513-851-6000.”
