Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announces Murder Indictment against Desean Brown

Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced a murder indictment against Desean Brown for the December 5th murder of Nyteisha Lattimore.  Brown is now charged with 2 counts of Murder (Special Felony), 1 count of Felonious Assault (Felony 2), 1 count of Gross Abuse of a Corpse (Felony 5) and 1 count of Tampering with Evidence (Felony 3).   If convicted of all charges, he faces the possibility of life in prison.

Brown is charged with killing his girlfriend Nyteisha Lattimore on or about December 5th in her Walnut Hills apartment.  He transported the body to Pete Rose Way in downtown Cincinnati where Cincinnati Police found her body on December 12th.

The Hamilton County Coroner ruled her death a homicide as the result of stab wounds.

The Cincinnati Police Department is still searching for her missing 3-year-old son Nylo Lattimore.  Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Cincinnati Police Department at 513-352-6948, 513-352-6934, 513-352-3542 or CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters commented,   “A young woman and mother is dead at the hands of her ‘boyfriend’.   Her young child is missing.

Unfortunately death and physical harm at the hands of a person close to the victim is far too common.  My hope is that my office and the police will be able to work with the community in the future to help intervene in these situations and prevent further tragedy.

I urge anyone with information regarding missing 3-year-old Nylo to call the Cincinnati Police Department or CrimeStoppers.”
