Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters Announces Rape Indictment of Mouthaz Abass

Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the indictment of Mouthaz Abass (DOB 12/27/89). Abass was indicted for fifteen counts of Rape (F1), two counts of Endangering Children (F3/F2), one count of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor (F2), and Illegal Use of a Minor or Impaired Person in a Nudity-Oriented Material of Performance (F2). If convicted on all charges, Abass faces the maximum possible sentence of life in prison.

Between the dates of May 2021 and February 2022, Abass raped B.W., his girlfriend’s daughter, on multiple occasions. B.W. was 12 years old when the abuse began. During this time, Abass resided with the victim and her family. Abass would provide marijuana to B.W. During the investigation, law enforcement found recordings of the offenses on Abass’s phone.

In addition to the sexual abuse, Abass also beat B.W. multiple times with belts, wires, and an extension cord.

B.W. has been removed from the home and is in the custody of Hamilton County Jobs and Family Services. Abass is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $1,000,000 secured bond.

Prosecutor Deters commented, “This guy is a pig. What this little girl had to go through is unimaginable. The depravity of recording yourself raping a child shocks the conscience.

I am thankful that this child is now in a safe place. We will do everything in our power to ensure Abass never has access to another child for as long as he lives.”
