Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced the murder indictment
of Leandre Glenn (DOB 10/22/99) for the murder of 6-month-old Christopher Walter.

Glenn is charged with two counts of Murder (SF), one count of Endangering Children
(F2), one count of Carrying Concealed Weapons (F4), and one count of Improperly
Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle (F4). If convicted on all counts, he faces the
maximum possible sentence of life in prison.

On June 15, 2021, Glenn was caring for Christopher, who is not his biological son.
Christopher was in Glenn’s sole care throughout the day. In the evening hours of June
15, 2021, Christopher was brought to Children’s Hospital unconscious. Christopher
remained on life-support until June 20, 2021, when he succumbed to his injuries.
The Hamilton County Coroner found Christopher’s death was the result of traumatic
brain injury and blunt impacts to the head. Evidence of strangulation was found on the
child’s neck and throat.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters commented, “It’s been a tough year. I
don’t know what would ever possess someone to do this to anyone, let alone such a
young baby.

This callous disregard for human life is unbelievable, and we have seen way too much of
this in Hamilton County. It is our goal to bring Christopher and his short life some form
of justice.”
