Yesterday, Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers participated in the annual Cincinnati Children's Hospital Mayerson Center's Pinwheel Ceremony. This event, held annually to kick off Child Abuse Awareness Month, helps to raise awareness about the ongoing problem of child abuse in our community.

Prosecutor Powers stated: "I’m so proud of my office’s partnership with the Mayerson Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and of the work so many of my friends and colleagues do every day to protect our children. The Prosecutor’s Office and our law enforcement partners will always do everything we can to find and punish those who would commit these heinous crimes."
