The defendant brutally raped and murdered a 74 year old woman.

Roy Sebastian first tried to get into the house through first floor windows. Screens had been cut and a piece of tape placed on one window. He then scaled a downspout to a porch roof. From there he entered a bathroom window into the second floor of the house and into the victim's bedroom.

The victim's nude body was found laying face down on the floor. Her legs and hands were tied with twine. The twine was also tied around her hands and neck as if she was 'hog tied'. The autopsy revealed the victim died as a result of strangulation. She had two tears in the vaginal wall and had been raped vaginally and anally.
