Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announces Indictment of drug dealer in death of buyer

Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced an indictment against Adam Rich, a man who sold fentanyl and methamphetamines to a 39-year-old Green Township man, killing him.

Rich, 42, of 9878 Wiscasset Way, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45251, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, trafficking in a fentanyl related compound and aggravated trafficking in drugs.

The Hamilton County Heroin Task Force initiated this case.

The indictment alleges on June 5, 2022, Mr. Rich sold fentanyl and methamphetamines to the victim. Evidence shows Mr. Rich communicated with the victim in the weeks prior to his death regarding the sale of drugs. Additionally, texts show Mr. Rich sold drugs to the victim within four hours of his death.

“These cases are tragic, but every death matters,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich. “We urge citizens to remember even a little bit of fentanyl can kill.”
