Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers announced the indictment of Brian Karr (DOB 8/22/89) for one count of Rape (F1) and two counts of Gross Sexual Imposition (F3).

Karr was already under indictment for a separate sexual assault in 2022. He was indicted for two counts of Rape (F1), one count of Gross Sexual Imposition (F4), two counts of Sexual Battery (F3), and one count of Felonious Assault (F2).

If convicted on all charges for both indictments, Karr faces a maximum possible sentence of life in prison with parole eligibility after 30 years.

In 2022, Karr was indicted for the rape of an adult woman on a first date. The victim fell unconscious after consuming one alcoholic drink. When the victim regained consciousness, Karr was on top of her, raping her. His bond was set at $350,000 at 10 % – which he posted the same day.

Recently, another victim disclosed Karr had sexually assaulted her as well. This incident occurred prior to the offense in 2022 and involved a victim who was 7 years old at the time of the offense. The victim was assaulted when she was taking a bath.

For this indictment, Karr’s bond was set at $150,000 at 10% and a requirement he wear an electronic monitoring unit. Karr posted his bond the same day.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers commented, “I am particularly concerned there may be more victims out there given Karr’s methods and the age range of his victims.
